Home Page: It will be a busier-than-usual summer Sunday at UUCC on June 18, including Forum, Mindfulness Meditation, worship, children’s R.E. classes, an R.E. Team meeting, a family hike, and Loaves and Fishes.

At worship Rev. Molly will be in the pulpit with a sermon titled “This Is Water,” exploring how we can live out our values of mutual concern, worth and dignity, and collective liberation when the primacy of whiteness, maleness, heterosexuality, middle-class-ness, and able-bodiedness are the water in which we swim – the invisible “normal.” Join us for this second opportunity to explore what white supremacy culture means in today’s world and to grapple with how racism and oppression live in our institutions. Our initial “White Supremacy Teach-In” was held on May 7.

Social Action Team: SAT Communications Coordinator Suzanne Hansford-Bowles completely revamped this page, providing a current overview of the team’s composition and work. Also, the Social Action Team News page, which will not be updated regularly this summer, now includes an overview of social action activities this past year along with four photographs.
