Our Martin Luther King Jr. worship services originally scheduled Jan. 15 were canceled because of the forecasted ice storm. On Feb. 5, 2017, the services were rescheduled, and Rev. Molly’s sermon, “Moving for Justice,” told us about the work of the Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II, contemporary civil rights activist who believes emerging justice movements represent a “Third Reconstruction.” The Rev. Dr. Barber’s book of the same name is our Common Read this year. Listen to a podcast of the sermon.
