Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, was a very busy day at UUCC. Following the Forum group and early worship, congregants gathered in the Greeting Area and Sanctuary to socialize, eat holiday cookies, and decorate the holiday tree before the 11 a.m. service. The first Fair Trade Sale of coffee, tea and chocolate since June was put on by the Social Action Team, which has taken over the sales from the Green Sanctuary Team.
The worship service was the annual Youth Collaborative Service. In response to conversations with our high school youth, several of whom participated in the service, Rev. Molly’s sermon topic was “Hope for Humanists” – addressing the question of where hope comes from if not from above. Six new members joined the church during the service.
After worship the high school youth had lunch their parents and Rev. Molly, and the Social Action Team held its regular monthly meeting. Sunday evening the UU Dining Group had a social event for members and prospective members.

And thanks to Larry Lile of our Tech Team for producing the video of the worship service that appears below the photo slideshow.
