Dec. 20, 2015 – “Great Expectations” on the Sunday before Christmas

At a well-attended 11 a.m. worship service on the Sunday before Christmas, Rev. Molly’s sermon “Great Expectations” led us to imagine together the experience of Mary in the Christmas story – the hope and trembling of a young girl who carried the little baby upon whom such great expectations would rest – and explored how each of us carries the burden of hope. The service included a reading by Milbre Burch from “The Mary Stories” entitled “Waiting for the Wonder.”

Thanks to Larry Lile of the Tech Team for producing the video of the worship service.
