Classroom Aides Needed

Please lend a hand on a Sunday morning!  Each of our Sunday school classes needs two adults to supervise the kids.  Teachers are already in place, but they need helpers for passing out juice, stapling projects, etc etc etc.  Are YOU the helper we are looking for?  Please contact Lisa Fritsche (dre@uuchurch.net) with a date you are available, and you can start getting to know the greatest kids in town!

What’s Planned for Sunday School  this weekend (9/12/10)…

• The Potter class (preschool) is having a tour of our church.
• The Schweitzer class (K-2) is celebrating our differences as they decorate their own treasure chests.
• The Thoreau class (3rd-6th) class is sharing jokes as they participate in First Day.
• The YUUTS (7th & 8th) are creating a class covenant, and playing a scarf game.
• The High School Sunday School youth are discussing what’s important in life, with the help of the Simpson’s “One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish”

3rd Sunday Lunches

Our next gathering will be after church on Sunday, September 19th.  We’ll share a tasty picnic lunch, and then join together, young and old, for some active games.  The event will finish by 1:00.  We hope you can be there for this family event!  Please let Lisa Fritsche know if you’ll be attending, so we don’t run our of food!
